Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the EGN ConnectX website (egnconnectx.com), registering as a visitor, booking an exhibition stall, submitting an award nomination, or participating in any EGN Connect X event, programme, or activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

These Terms apply to all users, visitors, delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, award nominees, and any other individuals who interact with EGN ConnectX platforms or events organised by EGN EDU India Private Limited ("EGN ConnectX", "we", "our", or "us").

Event Overview

EGN Connect X 2026 is India's premier education exhibition, conference, and leadership summit, scheduled for 3–4 November 2026 at NESCO, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The event is organised by EGN EDU India Private Limited and brings together educators, institutions, EdTech innovators, policymakers, investors, and solution providers.

The event includes but is not limited to: an education exhibition, leadership conferences, award ceremonies, panel discussions, workshops, networking sessions, and related programmes. EGN ConnectX reserves the right to modify the event schedule, venue, speakers, or format at any time without prior notice.

Visitor Registration Terms

Visitor registration for EGN Connect X 2026 is available to education professionals, school leaders, policymakers, EdTech enthusiasts, parents, and all stakeholders of the education ecosystem. By registering as a visitor, you agree to the following:

• All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up to date. Submission of false or misleading information may result in denial of entry or cancellation of registration without refund.
• Visitor registration does not guarantee entry if the venue reaches maximum permitted capacity.
• A valid government-issued photo ID may be required for verification at the venue entrance.
• Registration is non-transferable and personal to the registered individual.
• EGN ConnectX reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion.
• Registered visitors consent to receiving event-related communications, updates, and promotional materials from EGN India Association. You may opt out at any time.

Stall Booking & Exhibitor Terms

Organisations, institutions, and companies wishing to exhibit at EGN Connect X 2026 must submit a stall booking enquiry. Confirmation of a stall booking is subject to payment of the applicable fees and acceptance by EGN ConnectX.

• Stall bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from EGN ConnectX.
• Stall sizes, locations, and configurations are subject to availability and may be altered at the organiser's discretion.
• Exhibitors are responsible for the design, setup, staffing, and dismantling of their stalls within the allocated time windows.
• All stall materials, displays, and demonstrations must comply with applicable laws and must not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content.
• Exhibitors must not engage in aggressive marketing, unsolicited canvassing, or any activity that disrupts neighbouring exhibitors or visitors.
• EGN ConnectX may remove any exhibitor or their materials from the venue for non-compliance with these Terms, without refund.
• Subletting of exhibition space is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from EGN ConnectX.
• Exhibitors are solely responsible for the safety and security of their equipment, products, and staff at the venue.

Award Nomination Terms

EGN Connect X hosts the EGN Education Awards recognising outstanding contributions to the education ecosystem in India. By submitting an award nomination, you agree to the following:

• All information provided in award nominations must be truthful, accurate, and verifiable.
• Nominations are evaluated by an independent jury and the decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals regarding jury decisions will be entertained.
• EGN ConnectX reserves the right to disqualify any nomination that contains false, misleading, or plagiarised content.
• Award categories, criteria, and shortlisting processes may be modified at the organiser's discretion.
• Nominees consent to EGN ConnectX using their names, organisation names, and submitted information for promotional purposes in connection with the awards.
• Physical attendance at the award ceremony is encouraged but may not be mandatory in all categories.

Code of Conduct

EGN ConnectX is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and professionally respectful environment for all participants. All attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, staff, and visitors are expected to:

• Treat all individuals with dignity, courtesy, and respect regardless of gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, or professional background.
• Refrain from engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or offensive behaviour.
• Not engage in unauthorised commercial solicitation, spam communications, or aggressive promotional activities outside designated areas.
• Comply with all instructions issued by event staff, venue management, and security personnel.
• Not consume alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances on or near the event premises.
• Not engage in activities that may compromise the safety, security, or reputation of the event or its participants.

EGN ConnectX reserves the right to remove any individual from the event premises for violation of this Code of Conduct, without prior notice and without refund of any fees paid.

Photography, Video & Media

EGN ConnectX and its authorised media partners will conduct photography, audio recording, and video filming throughout the event. By attending or participating in EGN Connect X 2026, you:

• Consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded as part of the event coverage.
• Grant EGN ConnectX an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in event-related promotional materials, social media, website content, publications, and broadcasts.
• Agree not to record, broadcast, or live-stream any event sessions, presentations, or speaker content without prior written permission from EGN ConnectX.
• Acknowledge that intellectual property rights in all official event recordings, photographs, and media materials vest exclusively with EGN EDU India Private Limited.

Personal photography for non-commercial purposes is permitted, provided it does not disrupt sessions, speakers, or other attendees.

Intellectual Property

All content on the EGN ConnectX website and at the event — including but not limited to logos, trademarks, event branding, graphics, presentations, speaker content, written materials, videos, and programme designs — is the exclusive intellectual property of EGN EDU India Private Limited or its respective licensors.

• No content may be reproduced, distributed, republished, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written consent from EGN ConnectX.
• Any authorised use of EGN ConnectX branding or event identity must comply with guidelines provided by EGN ConnectX.
• Speakers and presenters retain their individual intellectual property rights over their presentations and materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Attendees may take notes for personal use but may not reproduce, distribute, or publish session content without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EGN EDU India Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, partners, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from attendance at or participation in EGN Connect X events.
• Loss or theft of personal property, equipment, or valuables at the event venue.
• Personal injury, illness, or accidents occurring at the event premises.
• Any technical failures, disruptions, or cancellations of event sessions or features.
• Actions, representations, or products of exhibitors, sponsors, or third-party participants.
• Any loss of business, profits, data, or goodwill arising from participation in or inability to participate in the event.

Participants attend EGN Connect X at their own risk. EGN ConnectX makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content, service, or product offered at the event.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following cancellation and refund terms apply to paid bookings, including exhibition stall reservations and sponsored packages:

• Cancellation by Participant: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds are subject to the schedule below:
  • Cancellation more than 90 days before the event: 70% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation between 60–90 days before the event: 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation between 30–60 days before the event: 25% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the event: No refund. A credit note valid for the next EGN ConnectX edition may be issued at the organiser's discretion.
• Cancellation by EGN ConnectX: In the event that EGN ConnectX cancels the event for any reason, registered participants will receive a full refund of fees paid or the option to transfer their booking to the next available edition.
• Visitor Registration: Visitor registration is free of charge and no refund terms apply.
• All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 working days of the approved cancellation request.

Force Majeure

EGN ConnectX shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, or extreme weather events
• Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies declared by government authorities
• Acts of war, civil unrest, terrorism, or government-imposed restrictions
• Strikes, labour disputes, or venue-related closures
• Power failures, internet outages, or critical infrastructure disruptions

In the event of a force majeure situation, EGN ConnectX will endeavour to reschedule the event and communicate updates to all registered participants at the earliest opportunity. Where rescheduling is not feasible within a reasonable timeframe, refund or credit note options will be communicated accordingly.

Data Protection & Privacy

The collection, use, storage, and processing of your personal information in connection with EGN ConnectX events and services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By accepting these Terms, you also acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy carefully before registering or participating.

Third-Party Services & Links

EGN ConnectX events may involve third-party service providers, sponsors, speakers, and technology partners. Our website and event communications may contain links to external websites or platforms operated by third parties.

• EGN ConnectX is not responsible for the actions, content, products, or services of any third-party exhibitor, sponsor, or service provider at the event.
• Third-party links on our website are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or control the content of external websites and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of those websites.
• Attendees are encouraged to independently evaluate any third-party products or services encountered at or through EGN ConnectX events.

Amendments to These Terms

EGN ConnectX reserves the right to revise, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Your continued participation in EGN ConnectX events or use of our services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your participation and notify us in writing.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000, as applicable.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
